“Quèquicom” gets the Science in Action Award 2010

The National Research Council, the Spanish Society of Physics, Geology and the National University of Distance Education, have given Quèquicom the Science in Action Award 2010 for all its programs. The jury, chaired by Professor Rosa M. Ros Ferré, UPC (who is also director of Science in Action) highlighted the amenity, educational quality and rigor that the program has maintained over time, as well as its ability to convey the importance of science in everyday life. This award is aimed at initiatives of dissemination of science to the general public, but with an educational value. Participated entities in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. This year hundreds of teachers and students gathered in Santiago de Compostela and shared experiences during three days.
