Explanation about conifers in the TV show Divendres

On the occasion of the 35th Espinelves Fir Fair, the magazine Divendres of TV3 has visited the town during the first week of December 2015. The biologist and Quèquicom reporter Pere Renom has helped to explain some features of conifers, family trees including fir, spruce, cedar, cypress, pine or redwood. In the Masjoan nursery, located in the same locality, it is found the largest concentration of monumental trees in Catalonia, especially conifers planted mostly by Marià Masferrer between 1860 and 1911. Many of the specimens exceed 40m in height.
