The calendar scrolls
2020 is leap, therefore the month of February has 29 days. This modification of the calendar only occurs every 4 years, in order to adjust to the terrestrial translation, which instead of having an exact duration of 365 days, has 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 45.10 seconds. In fact, the correction also implies avoiding leap year in 3 out of 4 secular years (that is, the year 2000 was a leap year, but the 2100, 2200 and 2300 will not be). Other than translation, the duration of terrestrial rotation is also not exact, and lasts 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 4 seconds. The Earth makes 5 more movements: changes on obliqueness (inclination of the axis), changes on the eccentricity of the ellipse, axial precession, absidal precession and plane oscillation, which take place in cycles of thousands of years. All these movements are a consequence of the gravity exerted mainly by the Sun, the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn. The Sun, in turn, also rotates on itself and around the Milky Way every 226 million years and drags the entire Solar System with it. Finally the galaxy apart from rotating, also moves towards the constellations of Virgo and Leo where it is believed that it will collide with the neighboring Andromeda galaxy in about 4.5 billion years. The entire Cosmos moves, therefore, we cannot have an immovable calendar.
